Ibn Battuta decides to go to the Valley of the Hyenas to get the flower. A merchant advises him to have a strong scent with him in order to protect him from predators there. When he reaches the valley, Ibn Battuta\'s foot and hand become paralyzed, and his friend Suleiman tries to help him.
