In this episode, Ibn Battuta becomes acquainted with the governor of Constantine who happens to be a friend of his father. The governor hosts Ibn Battuta in his palace and prepares supplies along with attaining servants to accompany Ibn Battuta on his upcoming destination; Tunisia. At the end of this episode, Ibn Battuta bids his companions farewell, as he joins a caravan of merchants to complete his journey with, where an unexpected surprise awaits him.
